Our Story

Trendy’s Restaurant

Trendy's is under new ownership!

Now open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch with the same great menu, downtown Redding location, delicious food, and amazing service!

In February 2020 Trendy's was purchased by the current owners of Joe’s Giant Orange, a thriving North Redding / Shasta Lake staple restaurant. The new owners, Ruben and Cupertina, bring over 35 years experience in the restaurant industry combined with their love of delicious food and desire to put smiles on customers faces. Ruben has been cooking food with his heart and soul for over 35 years. His wife Cupertina has been serving customers with a smile and helps run the businesses.

When they heard this past December that the previous owners of Trendy's were thinking about selling their restaurant, they jumped at the opportunity to own a slice of an iconic downtown Redding restaurant. They always admired Trendy's food, location, and atmosphere. They have worked side by side with the previous owners of Trendy's to perfect the recipes and the menu, and are working hard to deliver mouth watering food with amazing service.
